Each October the city comes alive with art after dark, one very full evening. Usually an event for professionals, CPA high school submitted an art installation proposal based on the events of the Halifax Explosion in 1917. We were approved! We chose St. Paul's Church (a building in downtown Halifax that survived the explosion) and hung 904 pieces of beautiful glass. The number signifies the time of day the explosion happened. |
