Ketch Harbour Bridge Damaged

Here are some photos of the substantial damage the Ketch Harbour bridge sustained, on the harbour side, some time in the past day. It appears to have been hit at the base and the side is somewhat seperated from the deck of the bridge.

There is also damage to the upper rail on the river side of the bridge.

The KHARA Co-chairs have been advised and John Himmelman has contacted the Prov. Dept. of Transport, and spoken to the dispatch office to notify them of the damage to the bridge and the potential hazard. They are sending someone out to assess the damage and hopefully put some pylons out until repairs can be made.
